Principal's Message “Intelligence is what you use when you don’t know what to do” Jean Piaget – Child Psychologist We, the educationists are not merely engaged in imparting knowledge or information that can be acquired from any available sources. The technology is so effortless that one can enter into an enormous source of knowledge without much complexity. The students are accustomed to surfing for the necessary information from various websites on the internet. However, it is of utmost importance to keep in mind your own personal safety and be aware of cyber security, to be protected from the unknown dark sides of the cyber world. Children are inquisitive by nature. How do we judge their search for knowledge...? They are left at times, unaided to discover what is beneficial and what is not. At times, their preferences could be erroneous and loaded with hazards. It’s an immense challenge to familiarize them with the virtuous path. The children are generally creative in building patterns in their minds as their cognition keeps developing and growing. If they are left by themselves they will definitely be more original. What they need is a right direction to arrive at a socially acceptable behavior. I request the parents to kindly accompany your children in their educational journey. Your presence will enhance their growth and development to live in a socially acceptable manner. At every stage of life there is a developmental task in the life of every human person from conception…birth to adulthood. As we are passing through a very complex period, where fear and anxiety is still at its peak, we need to make extra efforts to supplement their educational growth. The teachers are not task masters who demand tests and exams, but through these they ensure the all round development of your child. The daily studying instills good moral, spiritual and relational habits. Regular lessons educate them to be self confident, respect for others, admire nature and take pride in building nation. Dear Students, your life is in your hands. As you attend your online classes, take the responsibility for yourselves. No one can help you as much as you can. You are builders of your life and makers of your destiny, so strengthen your personality and character, depending on your own strengths and your abilities. Your school and teachers will always be your support system. OUR PATRONESS MESSAGE St. Maria Goretti was a martyr of purity at the tender age of twelve. Her life exemplifies the need for young girls to resist the temptations faced in life and to lead a meaningful existence. It is this notion which we are trying to impart to our students.
FOUNDRESS MESSAGE St. Magdalene Gabriella was the foundress of the Daughters and Sons of Charity. Our institution too is run by the Canossian Daughters of Charity. Magdalene means 'Inspiring love' and Gabriella means 'Strength of love'. Her only wish was to serve the poor and her main goal was the education of women. Under her patronage we hope to make our students as God - centred persons who will be able to lead meaningful lives wherever they go in life. By her hard and sincere work she has proven that - Death comes to all, but great achievements raise the monument which shall endure as the sun grows cold. Her feast day is celebrated on 8th of May every year.
